Dear Friends and Comrades:
This Sunday Ram (member of the Sai Baba Center in East Brunswick, New Jersey -an affliate of Muslims Against Hunger) arrived at Hudson County’s Journal Square in Jersey City, New Jersey with 80 lunches and several volunteers to distribute their food gifts of love to our homeless and needy. A photo of the event follows below.
The homeless were delighted to see us and shouted out many blessings for the lunches they received. In total 60 lunches were distributed and the remainder were donated to St. Lucy’s Shelter.
A big thank you and countless blessings go out to the members of the Sai Baba Center in East Brunswick for their generosity to our homeless and needy friends. I am grateful for their food donations and participation in this event. The members of the Sai Baba Center have demonstrated a deep caring and generosity for the homeless time and time again not only with food but with clothing and toiletries as well. GOD bless them in every way for their open heartedness.
In closing, please remember that I need volunteers for the last Sunday of the month to distribute hot food to our homeless and needy friends. So far, nobody has volunteered but my hope springs eternal that somebody in Hudson County will take one hour to do GOD’s work. If you want to volunteer contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org or send me a private message on Facebook.
