This was a great day! Zamir Hassan (founder Muslims Against Hunger) came to Journal Square in Jersey City, New Jersey with volunteers Haroon, Abdul Latif and son Ali to feed the homeless and needy. He brought 100 lunches and 100 bottled waters. Our homeless friends were hiding from the sweltering 100 degree heat but we still distributed 70 lunches. Leftovers were donated to St. Lucy’s Shelter. The homeless were very happy to see us and gave us many blessings.
As always, I send many thanks and blessings to Zamir Hassan- and all volunteers at Muslims Against Hunger- for the many generous donations of food delivered to our homeless and needy friends.
Some photos of the event are found below. Blessings to you all.
