Dear Friends and Colleagues:
On this beautiful but cold windy day Ali Hassan once again arrived at Hudson County’s Journal Square in Jersey City, New Jersey with a car full of lunches and 30 hygiene kits for our homeless and needy friends. Everything else in the car was donated to St. Lucy’s Shelter.
We made distribution of 70+ lunches and all 30 hygiene kits (toothbrush, toothpaste and soap) within 40 minutes. Today there were more homeless to be found given that the weather was slightly warmer and they weren’t in hiding from the bitter cold. It was such a joy to see them. They blessed us as always. Photos found below. I apologize for having lost a third photo. I can’t explain how it happened. It just disappeared.
My thanks and blessings go out to Muslims Against Hunger and to the wonderful congregation of the Sai Baba Center in North Brunswick, New Jersey for their constant donations of food and essentials to our homeless and needy.
Once again, I ask all who are able to volunteer to help us. We need help in distribution and donations of food and essentials.
