Luis Rosa served 20 years in a USA prison as a political prisoner with Oscar Lopez Rivera. I thanked him for his sacrifice for Puerto Rico and all his efforts as an activist seeking freedom for Oscar Lopez Rivera and all political prisoners.

Jose Lopez Rivera - Keynote Speaker. Made a beautiful and passionate speech detailing the inhumane treatment given to his brother Oscar Lopez Rivera who was forced to serve the first 12 years of his life sentence in 24/7 monitored solitary confinement.I feel honored to have had the chance to have a conversation with Jose Lopez Rivera. He is an incredibly intelligent man with a great heart and love for Puerto Rico and all humanity.

  1. I am writing from Radical History Review, a left-wing history journal. We are publishing an article on Puerto Rican-Palestinian solidarity. How might we request permission to print the first photo above of Migna Khan with Puerto Rican activist Rhadames Rivera witht his article? Please contact me at skotna@sage.edu. Thanks, Andor Skotnes
