Advocates for Peace and Social Justice received a food donation from Zehra Toor of Muslims Against Hunger at Miftahul Uloom Academy in Union City today and was able to deliver enough food to feed over 20 homeless persons at Journal Square in Jersey City, New Jersey. I was given three packaged meals and two full trays of food with plates and plastic utensils. Advocates for Peace and Social Justice purchased a case of water to go with the meals.

Many thanks and blessings go out to Zehra Toor, and her organization, for giving me the leftovers of their soup kitchen event for the homeless and needy in Union City.

As you can tell from the photos, the food was well received by our homeless friends. I cannot describe the joy I felt seeing them eat.

My friend, Nancy Olszewski, donated clothing for this event. Blessings to Nancy for her generous donation.
