Muslims Against Hunger – 11/23/14

Dear Friends and Comrades,

Today was a very blessed day. Extremely happy to report that Ali Hassan (Muslims Against Hunger) arrived at Jersey City’s Journal Square with five trays of food for our homeless and needy friends at Journal Square. The food was donated to Muslims Against Hunger by SAI Spiritual Group from East Brunswick, New Jersey to celebrate the birthday of their leader Sai Baba. Altogether we served 60 full meals which were a mix of salad, rice, chili and baked ziti accompanied by 40 brown paper lunch bags filled with one bread, fruit, water, fork and bottled water.

A big thank you and blessings go out to Ali Hassan for delivering and helping to distribute food. He was joined by APSJ member Naved Husain who donated 3 cases of bottled water (72 bottles), 48 boxes of individual breakfast cereals and forks. Naved also helped to serve meals when my back started screaming. GOD bless Naved for his many donations and help in the distribution and serving of food.

Our homeless and needy friends at Journal Square ate well and gave us many thanks for bringing them food. Photos of the event are found below.

I send thanks and blessings to the SAI Spiritual Group for their generous food donation for our homeless and needy in Jersey City. Thanks and blessings also go out to Zamir Hassan (founder of Muslims Against Hunger) for the constant generosity and for connecting the SAI Spiritual Group to our feeding program in Jersey City.
