Dear Friends and Comrades,
This week Ram and Lalit from Sathya Sai Baba Center in East Brunswick, New Jersey (an affiliate of Muslims Against Hunger) delivered 60 lunches together with 60 scarves, 60 gloves and 60 woolen caps to our homeless and needy in Jersey City. A big thank you and many blessings go out to Ram, Lalit and all the members of the Sathya Sai Baba Center for the love gifts they brought to those who are in most desperate need living on the streets. The homeless and needy friends expressed much gratitude for all they received today. Some of our friends helped us carry and distribute as well.
Blessings also go out to Zamir Hassan of Muslims Against Hunger for every effort he has made to supply our friends in Jersey City with meals on a weekly basis.
Last, but not least, many blessings go out to Naved Husain who donated three cases of water today and for all the food donations that has brought to our homeless and needy for the past several months.
It was a very blessed event. Happy to report that all the lunches and other goodies went in a matter of minutes. As always, I was happy to see our friends in need eat a healthy lunch and wear the warm scarves, hats and gloves as we left them. Photos of the event are found below.
