Dear Friends and Comrades,
This Sunday food donations came from Or Ha Lev Synagogue in Mount Arlington, New Jersey (an affiliate of Muslims Against Hunger) via its volunteers Neil Smith and Jerry Dyller. They delivered 100 lunches to our homeless and needy friends at Hudson County’s Journal Square in Jersey City. 50 lunches were distributed and the balance was dropped off at St. Lucy’s Shelter.
A double blessing came from Ram and Lalit of the Sai Baba Center in East Brunswick, New Jersey (an affiliate of Muslims Against Hunger). They delivered 100 lunches and 40 woolen scarves to our homeless and needy at Journal Square. About 40 lunches were distributed and the rest went to St. Lucy’s Shelter. All the scarves were distributed.
As always our homeless and needy friends were thrilled to see us and gave us many blessings for what they received. Needless to say I am always happy to see and provide for them something to eat. That is my greatest joy.
I send many thanks and blessings to the members of Or Ha Lev Synagogue and the Sai Baba Center for their generous donations to our homeless and needy. Blessings also go out to Zamir Hassan (Founder) of Muslims Against Hunger for all the generosity of his organization towards the hungry and homeless.
