Dear Friends and Comrades,
On Sunday, September 28th, Jamal Powell (Coordinator of Muslims Against Hunger in Union City) and volunteers Soumia and Rhemma put together a fresh homemade hot meal for the homeless and Needy of Union City, New Jersey. The menu was so delicious that we served about 70 people in house and they took a meal to go as well.
The atmosphere in the kitchen was incredibly peaceful and coordinated. Volunteers had a wonderful time doing the work of love for those who are in most need.
