What are Human Rights?

Here is a video clip which explains what Human Rights are and the issues related to them.

Here is the definition of human rights (as defined at:  http://www.thefreedictionary.com/human+right

human right – (law) any basic right or freedom to which all human beings are entitled and in whose exercise a government may not interfere (including rights to life and liberty as well as freedom of thought and expression and equality before the law)

right – an abstract idea of that which is due to a person or governmental body by law or tradition or nature; “they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”; “Certain rights can never be granted to the government but must be kept in the hands of the people”- Eleanor Roosevelt; “a right is not something that somebody gives you; it is something that nobody can take away”
right to privacy – right to be free of unsanctioned intrusion
right to life – the right to live
right to liberty – the right to be free
right to the pursuit of happiness – the right to try to find happiness
freedom of thought – the right to hold unpopular ideas
equality before the law – the right to equal protection of the laws
civil right – right or rights belonging to a person by reason of citizenship including especially the fundamental freedoms and privileges guaranteed by the 13th and 14th amendments and subsequent acts of Congress including the right to legal and social and economic equality
lawjurisprudence – the collection of rules imposed by authority; “civilization presupposes respect for the law”; “the great problem for jurisprudence to allow freedom while enforcing order”

Having read the above definition we can clearly see that we have ALL had our human rights violated by way of fascist laws which have stripped us of our liberty and freedoms. The legislation of NDAA, SOPA, PIPA and 40,000 other laws are the nails in the coffin of human rights. We must not remain silent to this injustice.
